Electrical servicesStart with what's going on. We'll find the specialist.
Pick the job closest to yours below, or just describe it in your own words. Either way, we match it with one licence-checked local electrician who does that kind of work regularly, and they quote you directly.
Something isn't working
If the power keeps tripping, part of the house has gone dark or something smells hot, start with electrical repairs and fault finding, or emergency electricians if it can't wait. Sparks, smoke or a shock means calling 000 first. If the whole street is out, that's your electricity network's job, not an electrician's.
Making your home safer
Ceramic fuses or no safety switches point to a switchboard upgrade or safety switches. Smoke alarms come with rules that differ by state. Just bought, selling or renting the place out? An electrical safety inspection tells you where things stand.
Adding something new
Power points, lighting, downlights, ceiling fans, bathroom fans and heaters, an oven or cooktop, an EV charger, smart switches, data points or a TV antenna. Big new loads like a charger or an induction cooktop can mean the switchboard needs work too, so mention everything you're planning.
Older wiring and bigger supply jobs
Rewiring is for homes where the old wiring itself is the problem. Three-phase power, meter boxes and mains and underground power deal with the supply into the property. In New South Wales, the work between the network and your property is done by a Level 2 electrician, an Accredited Service Provider.
For businesses
Commercial electricians covers fit-outs, faults and upgrades for shops, offices and other sites, and test and tag is for portable equipment at work. We match those the same way: one licence-checked electrician who does that kind of job.
